YOU BETCHA KIMCHI

YOU BETCHA FERMENTCHA!

IS NOW

Our new name reflects some exciting upcoming new products as well as an acknowledgment that our ferments are a midwestern take on traditional foods from a culture that is not our own. Our kimchi recipe is and has always been directly inspired by the Korean dish that has been a central part of Korean cuisine and culture for centuries. Changing our business name and product line was an important step as we continue working toward our vision of a more equitable and inclusive food system. Stay tuned for more amazing ferments coming in 2023.

What hasn’t changed: healthy, organic ingredients sourced directly from underrepresented farmers and probiotic goodness in each and every jar since 2013.

In gratitude and fermentation,

WHAP! YOU FEEL THAT?

That was a gingerific, smooch right on our tastebuds. Welcome to the land of fresh, crispy, probiotic goodness, made with 100% direct-sourced ingredients from local family farms.

You may ask yourself:

"Could something this tasty be good for me?"

You Betcha!

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?

STURDY GUTS

With a short chop and quick fermentation, our fresh ingredients create probiotic, crunchy, tangy midwest-styled ferments that are good for your gut and tasty as heck!

Happy People

Study after study shows that healthy eating and particularly eating probiotic-rich fermented foods is critical for having healthy levels of serotonin AKA "the happy hormone". Here at You Betcha, we feel great!

HaRdy FARMS

Uniquely, we source all our organic ingredients directly from small, locally owned and underrepresented family farms—supporting the health of their land and business. In 2022 alone, we purchased over 50,000 pounds of organic produce right from our own Midwest backdoor!

Minnesota Nice

Minnesota Nice

This here's Minnesota Nice. It's our mildest kimchi with nary a hot chili within the confines of its glass jar. But don't go thinking it's some floppy sail. No chilies allows our local ginger and garlic to really shine and the carrots and daikon radish to pop their combination of sweet and light spice. And well, isn't that nice?

A Bit Nippy

A Bit Nippy

Ahhh the middle road. Here in Minnesota, we only get a handful of those perfect sunny days; not too hot and not too cold. But our A Bit Nippy has that just-right-ness of a little spice and a little nice. Ahhh indeed.

UFFDA

UFFDA

If you like zing, this here zings. Uffda is loaded with fresh thai chilies ripened by our hot Minnesota summers. Don't fear the sweat, it's just weakness leaving the body...
